News:   Oswin’s opens

The Governors have selected the name for the new building.  It is to be called ‘Oswin’s’ after the King of Northumbria who is buried in the Priory and after whom King’s School is named.

We were delighted to welcome the President of the Woodard Corporation, the Rt Rev’d Anthony Russell, Bishop of Ely, on Monday 26th November 2007 to unveil the foundation stone in the foyer of the Oswin’s building.

The handover of the new facilities has now taken place and the facilities are in full use.  These include a fully equipped sports hall, drama and dance studios, fitness suite, changing facilities, cafeteria and coffee bar, sixth form centre, library and resource centre and a variety of classrooms & music practice rooms.  If you would like to come and have a look around either ring the Alumni Development Office or join us for our open evening in the New Year, date to be confirmed, for drinks, canapés and conducted tours.
